Congratulations to Finnart AFC Winners of the Scottish Amateur Sunday Trophy
Added On:5/8/2008

The SAFA would like to congratulate Finnart AFC on winning the Scottish Amateur Sunday Trophy against Castlemilk Dynamo AFC on Sunday 4th May at Almondvale Stadium, Livingston FC, Livingston.

A great game between both teams ended in a 4-0 win to Finnart AFC.

Well done to both teams for playing well and in the true spirit of amateur football and for the great behaviour of their respective fans who kept supporting their teams throughout the ninety minutes.

The SAFA would like to thank Robert McGeachie, Match Secretary, for all his hard work in organising the competition and also to Tom Purdie of Livingston FC who helped make the arrangements on the day a great success.

An Official Commemorative DVD of the Scottish Amateur Sunday Trophy will be available at the end of May from the SAFA.
