Beach Soccer - St Andrews West Sands - Green Exercise Programme
Added On:6/26/2008

This year Fife Council, Community Services have launched a Green Exercise Program for West Sands Beach St Andrews. There are various activities within the program however one area of particular interest to you may be the Introduction to Beach Soccer Course.

This is a day long certificated course provided by England Beach Soccer that looks at all aspects of this up and coming sport. The programme is split between practical and course work sections. Participants will gain an understanding of the game, including its history, rules and regulations, how to play.  The practical side gives all participants a chance to play beach soccer, learn the skills required and a chance to work on some tactics.

This course is approved by ILA Scotland.  If you earn £18,000 or less a year and stay in Scotland you will qualify for funding towards this course.  For an ILA Scotland application pack please call 0808 100 1090.

We have also arranged for a Beach Soccer Tournament to take place on the 17th August 08. Should you require any further information or you require a course or tournament application form please don’t hesitate to contact me on 08451 55 55 55 ext 444981 / mobile 07940774065 or email robbie.blyth@fife.gov.uk.
