All nominations should be sent to Hugh Knapp SAFA@Scottish-Football.com accompanied by a brief outline highlighting the merits of the nominated team, player or man. Nominations can be made by individuals and/or teams but added weight will be given to nominations that come with the backing and support of their Association/Leagues.
Winners - The nominations will be judged on merit and by independent adjudicators with winners being announced on the website at the start of each month.
Thanks - The SAFA wishes to thank PF Sports, www.pfsports.co.uk, for their generosity in sponsoring the Monthly Awards scheme. Please visit their website if you wish to try their online 'Kit Builder' tool to see what your team strip could look like with different styles and design choices.

Player of the Month
| | Gavin Forsyth
| Many have played against Gavin on several occasions at both club and league select, though over the past few seasons Gavin has shown great determination in excelling his fitness and play and has in my opinion become one of the top forwards in amatuer football at present !

Team of the month
| | Trophies International AFC
| Trophies International are like most teams - mainly a one - man team and Arthur Booth has worked tirelessly to maintain the team. He is their main sponsor and has played centre half for many years. Arthur has been instrumental in Trophies getting their own pitch at Balmedie which has to be maintained by the team ( which means Arthur ). They have not had a good start to their season but last week won their first match which naturally delighted them.

Man of the Month
| | Jamie Brock
| Jamie Brock is a 25 year old mentally handicapped lad who has followed our team Calderbank AFC since we formed 4 years ago. He is autistic but never lets this get him down. He arrives at every game before most of the players and helps to put the strips out, put up the nets and fill the water bottles. He cheers us on through every game and you can always hear him from the sidelines from the 1st to the last minute. He even attends EVERY training session week in week out no matter what the weather is like and collects the balls, sets out the cones and even takes part in the warm up and he does all this and asks nothing in return. He gives all the boys a lift before each game because he has a positive word for everyone. All teams in the Airdrie and Coatbridge league know him as well because of his dedication over the years. At every player of the year dance the club presents him with an award for supporter of the year as a small token of our appreciation but my teammates and I feel an award from the SAFA would be a more fitting prize and give him the recognition he deserves.
